Descriptions Yoga & Ayurveda for Daily Living
Yoga and its 5000 year old companion Ayurveda form a powerful combination when it comes to fitness and wellness. Both approach health by restoring the natural balance of body, mind and spirit. In this workshop, Arun explores the basic concepts of Ayurveda as they relate to yoga including the three mind-body principles known as the Doshas: Vata, Pitta and Kapha. Learn which yoga styles, poses and breathing techniques support or weaken each dosha so you can address your own physical and emotional imbalances. Arun will teach you how to apply Ayurvedic principles as you practice yoga at the workshop. Following the wisdom of Ayurveda can bring you back into natural alignment in your asanas and with life. Arun will also touch on simple home remedies to help turn your kitchen into your own personal pharmacy! Enrich your yoga practice and life through this exciting in-depth workshop
Svatantra: The Practice
Aligning with Intent, Authenticity and Intimacy
This signature workshop goes deep into Arun's 20 years of study in Ayurveda, Yoga and Tantra. In a unique practice we synthesize the three energies of healing, self-realization and alchemy to raise our level of consciousness and create deep transformation. Arun
reveals, in simple language, the secrets of these three Vedic traditions. Learn about the descent of Consciousness into Matter and the
journey back to Pure Awareness that begins with Physical (Ayurveda), Mental (Yoga) and Emotional/Intellectual (Tantra). As we move and flow through yoga at the workshop, we upgrade to an even higher level of awareness and discover that we have the ability to create an extraordinary life inside-out. Revitalize your body and soul while you integrate the lessons of this innovative workshop into a richer yoga practice and inspired daily living.
